About us ...
We are Diamantino Pedro and Julia Costa. We live in the Potuguese region of Ribatejo, where we breed Basset Hounds.

Diamantino is the holder of the affix "Casa do Trevo" and is connected to this breed since 1997, counting with several champions bred, over the years. Besides breeding Basset Hounds, his connection with dogs also extends to professional level, where he works with security dogs.

Julia holds the affix "Quinta da Alfarrobeira" and is a Veterinary Doctor, doing clinic in the region where they reside. Julia's other big passion are horses and the discipline of Dressage.

Breeding for us is a hobby and a sport, it is something that we like doing always keeping in mind the show dog. Because of this our normal number of litters are only two per year.
